On 26 November, the OpenRadiation project was presented to the members of the main commission of the International Commission on Radiological Protection, including the background to the creation of the project, its use in various projects and educational activities, and the future development of OpenRadiation. A number of detectors were then made available for field measurements. The members of the main committee were very interested and recognised the value of OpenRadiation as an educational tool in normal situations and as a tool for promoting a practical culture of radiation protection in post-accident situations. Two of them are now active contributors to the radiological mapping of the environment.
